Bruker Alicona will present the InfiniteFocusG6, an accurate and fast optical 3D measuring instrument for tolerances in the µm and sub-µm range, for the first time at the Control trade show. Components are measured in an area-based, high-resolution manner regardless of size, material, geometry, weight and surface finish. A number of features combine the functionalities of a roughness measuring machine (Ra, Rq, Rz/Sa, Sq, Sz) with the characteristics of a coordinate measuring machine. To new users plan their measurements already in the CAD model of a part, the selected positions are automatically approached and measured in 3D. High-precision tilting and rotating axes enable measurement on the entire component in just one measuring process. Thanks to Vertical Focus Probing, the optical sensor can also probe components laterally.
247MP CMOS by Sony
Sony recently released a 247MP rolling shutter CMOS image sensor available in monochrome (IMX811-AAMR) and color (IMX811-AAQR) variants which have a 64.84mm diagonal, a square pixel array, as well as 5.3fps.
