Against speechlessness When two say something, they don't always mean the same thing, but especially in machine vision projects a misunderstanding can be fatal. In order to enable uniform communication between user and system integrator, the VDI/VDE/VDMA guideline series 2632 was created, in which system manufacturers, integrators and users were involved. It is a pity that unfortunately far too few users and manufacturers still use this tool. A correctly created requirement specification enables even complex vision projects to be implemented much faster and cheaper, and the user ultimately gets exactly what he really wants.

Kind regards
Dr.-Ing. Peter Ebert, Chief Editor inVISION
