A module for bend angle measurement is now available for the camera-based protection system PSENvip 2 by Pilz, which forwards usable image data to the press control system. This means that the operator can see the bend angle value directly on the operator interface during bending. The camera-based protection system monitors the entire bending process. Installed on the upper beam of the press brake, it detects the smallest foreign objects in the protective field between the transmitter and receiver units.
