The EV9500 camera series by Sony consists of three different models, with each being based on the company’s 4.17MP 1/1.8-type Starvis CMOS image sensors. The EV9500H has an HDMI output, while the EV9500M and EV9500L have MIPI and LVDS interfaces respectively. All three of these camera blocks (56x64x125mm) feature a 30x enhanced optical zoom, plus a 12x digital zoom – with no image deterioration being experienced when these functions are used.

Sony recently released a 247MP rolling shutter CMOS image sensor available in monochrome (IMX811-AAMR) and color (IMX811-AAQR) variants which have a 64.84mm diagonal, a square pixel array, as well as 5.3fps.
