Fingers Crossed
Probably none of us imagined March 2020 at the beginning of the year like this. While in January we were still brooding over which trade fair to visit in spring or where we might be on holiday, we cannot even estimate what tomorrow will be - the facts change too quickly every day. So at this point we can only wish you and your family good health for the next few weeks, and that at the end of the year, looking back at these weeks, we can say: we made it!
Kind regards
Dr.-Ing. Peter Ebert, Chief Editor inVISION

Control cancelled, Optatec postponed
Two Schall-fairs have been postponed due to the Sars-CoV-2 virus. Control for this year has been cancelled completely and will take place again in May 2021 (04. to 07. May) in Stuttgart. This also affects the Control Vision Talks lecture forum, which was supposed to take place at the trade fair, and thus cannot take place. In addition, Optatec in Frankfurt has been postponed to 17-19 November this year.

Cancellations and a New Date
The flood of cancellations due to Corona continues: After the cancellation of the UKIVA Machine Vision Conference, the Embedded Vision Summit in Santa Clara has now also been affected and will probably be postponed until the week of October 12th. Furthermore, the Boston Vision Show, which should have taken place in June, has been cancelled by AIA and A3. On the other hand, the new date of Vision China (Shanghai), which will take place from July 3 to 5 (a weekend!) and coincide with Laser World of Photonics China, has been fixed.
