Digital Vision Twin Last year the OPC UA for Machine Vision Part 1 Companion Specification was introduced. It describes the digital twin of a vision system that takes over the management of recipes, configurations and results in a standardized way, while the contents remain manufacturer-specific and are treated as a black box. At the SPS fair (November 26 to 28, Nuremberg, Germany) at the booth of the OPC Foundation (Hall 5 - Booth 140), an OPC UA demonstrator will be used to demonstrate how vision systems can be integrated into higher-level IT production systems (e.g. PLC, Scada, MES, ERP, Cloud). By the way, the demonstrator is a joint project of the core wor
