At the heart of Kontron’s new KWS 3000-CML workstation is a Micro-ATX motherboard that uses Intel’s 10th generation processors and four DIMM DDR4-3200 modules with up to 128GB of memory. The thermal concept with two fans ensures smooth operation up to +45°C. The workstation in midi-tower format (380x190x380mm) is shock and vibration resistant according to EN 60068-2-27 and EN 60068-2-6 and can be configured individually: several front versions are available, up to four 3.5-inch drive bays can be equipped with either removable drives (hot swappable) or internal drives, a slim DVD can also be operated. In addition to the two USB 3.0 interfaces on the front, there are four more USB 3.2 and two USB 2.0 ports on the rear, 1x 1 GB or 2.5 GB LAN port, 1x HDMI 2.0a, 1x DP1.2, 1x VGA and 2x COM RS232/422/485 interfaces. Another three COM interfaces and two additional LAN ports can be installed on the rear.
